Pipes and Wastewater
The durability of sewage systems is a key economic factor for the owners and administrators of sewage systems. Long known for their durability in acid and abrasive environments, calcium aluminate concrete and mortar are also considered to offer high performance for protecting sanitation networks due to their exceptional resistance to biogenic corrosion. For more than fifty years they have been used for a wide range of applications: For protecting ductile metal, steel or concrete ducts in waste water systems, or in new construction or renovations of sewage systems (drains, treatment plants, pumping stations, collectors, etc.).
