CALCOAT® RG is a calcium aluminate-based cement specially designed for use in sewage systems.
Its high content in alumina and the nature of the hydrates produced in the manufacturing process provide excellent resistance to corrosion from acids and bacteria.
Furthermore, CALCOAT® RG concrete and mortar also offer excellent resistance to abrasion, which makes them very suited for pipes and duct work and other sewage system applications.
Due to its specific contents, CALCOAT® RG is easy to handle with a long wet-edge time followed by rapid hardening. The mortar and concrete rapidly achieve a very high mechanical performance level.
Applications
CALCOAT® RG concretes and mortars are used in sewage systems where they are required to resist biogenic acid corrosion: The inside coating made of ductile metals, protective layers for concrete piping and “full mass” concrete piping.
CALCOAT® RG is manufactured in a quality management system environment, certified according to ISO 9001 standards.
