Kerneos history

 
The story of Kerneos began in 1908, with the patenting of CIMENT FONDU®, the starting-point of the company's historic know-how. Kerneos began as a pioneer and became world leader. To this day, it continues to expand throughout the world. Here are the highlights of a rich history:

2015 »

On February 2015, Kerneos acquired European Bauxites in Greece,from owner S&B.

2014 »

  • On March 2014, Kerneos shareholder changes to French investment fund Astorg Partners.
  • Opening of the Kerneos Research Centre Asia (KRCA) - China.

2012 »

Kerneos acquires a 54% stake in the Greek mining company, Elmin, the leading European exporter of monohydrate bauxite

Key data

Ever since it registered a patent for Ciment Fondu® in 1908, Kerneos has constantly researched properties of calcium aluminates and developed them in order to create innovative materials.

Over the years, numerous ranges of high-technology calcium aluminate binders have been launched:
